The Consultant Suites is equipped with a state-of-the-art GE Lunar Prodigy DXA scanner, one of the most advanced tools available for measuring bone density. This technology plays a vital role in the diagnosis and monitoring of osteoporosis, helping to detect bone loss early and guide effective treatment plans.

DXA scanning isn’t just for osteoporosis. The same precise technology is used by professional athletes to optimise performance and recovery. Through detailed body-composition analysis, we can measure muscle mass, body fat distribution, and changes over time—helping athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone on a training programme track progress and fine-tune their routines.
